Fibromyalgia Natural Cures and Treatments
Published by John Gardner on November 24, 2011Fibromyalgia is now recognized as an illness by social security which means even the government recognizes it is real. Fibromyalgia most frequently happens in women between the ages of 25 to 50 years. It happens most often in women who are leading stressful lives or have had stressful events in their lives such as a serious illness or major accident. There is no certain relation between a certain type of condition and the degree of severeness which will cause Fibromyalgia or FM., but to many patients of Fibromyalgia, it is a very common compound.
Symptoms:
The signs of Fibromyalgia includes expansive musculoskeletal pain (100 percent), morning stiffness, expansive tiredness (96 to 100 percent) and troubled sleep (86 to 98 percent), these are among the most generally occuring signs and symptoms of Fibromyalgia, aside from the always hurting sensation occuring in the 11 out of the 18 sensitive areas of the body structure. Chilly, moist weathers and extreme physical tasks can terribly affect the condition and make it worse. Many of us who suffer from Fibromyalgia have irritable bowel syndrome, stiffness, numbness, swelling or edema, tingling, feeling lightheaded when standing, restless legs, leg cramps, migraine and tension headaches. Fibromyalgia indicators are very much alike those that are present in victims with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which makes it extremely hard to give it a proper diagnosis. With the long listing of indicators, it is no marvel that the time it takes for the results to be revealed is rather time consuming.
At times, patients may encounter issues when trying to think clearly or have a brain fog as well as having problems in recalling things. These problems are often short-term and after the memory is unclouded, the victim\’s concentration will be highly intensified. For victims of Fibromyalgia Syndrome, days like these are a regular everyday thing. The pounding, painful feeling all over the body is way more terrible in the morning. And that makes it even more difficult to bear when you\’ve just spent a seemingly endless night tossing and turning because restful sleep hasn\’t been seen in your bedroom for a long time. Fibromyalgia has a cyclical schedule, with varying conditions every single day as well as different degrees of pain. Some days, everything may be extremely terrible for awhile, and other days, the patient may feel perfectly normal and fine. As the condition is allowed to continue, the cycles of pain and weariness might become more frequent and serious.
Depression and discomfort happens often to those diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. It is unsure on whether the pain is causing the depression or the depression is the one initiating the pain, however it is certain that there is some psychological component to the illness. Constant pain and poor sleep often with tired muscles from twitching feet and arms at night can cause even the most cheerful person to experience these feelings. Fibromyalgia is often incorrectly diagnosed or takes lengthy amounts of time to be diagnosed. It is no easy task trying to identify Fibromyalgia, even most medical practitioners are not familiar with it and the indicators can often be affiliated to many different illnesses. In fact, one of the ways to identify Fibromyalgia is to get rid of all other options that could have caused it. It is the unexplained presence of pain and sensitivity and the linking of the pain to the 18 sensitive points that make most of the diagnosis.
One of the major frustrations and the feeling of isolation that we have come from remarks like \’this is all in your head\’ or \’would you like the name of a psychiatrist\’ which often intensify feelings of depression, doubt and anxiety. No one seems to realize that the hurting is there and very real even though there are no external indication of any problems.
The doctor will also check for certain chemical imbalances that are common with Fibromyalgia (FM). When you are diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, you would have to make a choice. You can either do what the doctor tells you to do (recommended) or just ignore it (not receommended) and hope it will heal on its own. About 30% of the people identified with Fibromyalgia are considered to be in the state of remittal as the doctors say that there is no cure. However, I consider being free of all symptons of Fibromyalgia and the capability to return back to daily chores as being fully cured.
Some of the Natural Cures you can do to help yourself if you choose to take an active part in your treatment (recommended) will fall into these categories.
Biofeedback
Meditation
Acupuncture
Hypnosis
Pain medication
Massaging
Heat for impermanent pain relief (Infrared saunas is the best option as it aids in removing all toxins from the body and improve blood flow)
